Our Roots
Jax Outdoor Solutions was founded by Kyle, whose entrepreneurial journey started with a fun and unexpected venture. What began as a seasonal light-hanging service with two friends – aptly named 3 Elves – was initially a way to fund a snowboarding trip. However, when the other elves departed, Kyle’s passion for creating something lasting kept the spark alive.
At the time, Kyle was working indoors at a logistics company but longed for a career where he could work outdoors and run his own business. After three successful seasons with 3 Elves, everything changed when Kyle’s daughter, Brighton, was born. Inspired to create a more flexible schedule to spend quality time with his growing family, Kyle made a bold decision to take his outdoor passion to the next level.

Building Jax Outdoor Solutions
Starting with a used diesel truck equipped with a Tommy lift, Kyle began by mowing lawns around Jacksonville, Florida, but his vision did not stop there. Soon, he expanded into hardscaping, including pavers, and later incorporated artificial turf installations into his services. His expertise and drive led to a partnership with Celebrity Greens, a leader in premium putting greens. Through this partnership, Jax Outdoor Solutions now brings some of the highest standards and specialized installation techniques to backyards and commercial spaces.
A Natural Partnership: Light Up Jax
During his journey, Kyle met Spencer, and their collaboration proved to be a perfect match. Sharing similar values and a commitment to customer satisfaction, the two merged their talents by integrating Light Up Jax into Jax Outdoor Solutions. Together, they deliver the complete backyard experience, from landscape design and lighting to artificial grass putting greens and hardscaping. By working as a team, Kyle and Spencer have not only expanded the company’s reach but also helped ensure that clients receive exceptional service at every step of their outdoor transformation.
